If you didn’t already know, mama and daddy are going to make my blog into a book for Kai and me. So we would really like you to add your comments to our posts, so we can have your words in our book, so we can read them when we get to be grown-up.
If you get our blog updates in email, you can make comments – first you need to get to our website, by clicking on the title, and then when you’re there and you see the post you want to make a comment about, you look for the link just under the post title that says “0 comments” (or maybe it will say “1 comment” or “1,000,000 comments”!) Scroll to the bottom of the page and there will be a box for you to write your note in. Or you can just get to our blog anytime by going to http://www.ian-davis.blogspot.com/
It will be so neat to have our book that has notes from the people that love us. Write lots and lots!

Hi there Spaceman! I was thinking about some space men songs that your Grandma, Aunt Sandi & I used to sing along with on the radio when we were little - I hope you like them.
#1 - Here is the song called "The Little Blue Man":
One morning while I was out shopping,
though you'll find it hard to believe,
a little blue man came out of the crowd
and timidly tugged at my sleeve.
Chorus
I wuv you, I wuv you, said the little blue man,
I wuv you, I wuv you to bits,
I wuv you, he loved me, said the little blue man, and scared me right out of my wits.
I hurried back to my apartment,
I rushed in and I closed the door,
but there on my desk stood the little blue man,
who started to tell me once more.
Chorus
I wuv you, I wuv you, said the little blue man,
I wuv you, I wuv you to bits,
I wuv you, he loved me, said the little blue man, and scared me right out of my wits
For weeks after that I was haunted, though no one could see him but me,
right by my side was the little blue man,
wherever I happened to be.
Chorus
I wuv you, I wuv you, said the little blue man,
I wuv you, I wuv you to bits,
I wuv you, he loved me, said the little blue man, and scared me right out of my wits
One evening in wild desperation,
I rushed to a rooftop in town
and over the side pushed the little blue man,
who sang to me on the way down,
I wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuvvvvv yoooooooooo.
I whispered thank goodness that's over, I smiled as I hurried outside,
but there on the street stood the little blue man,
who said, with a tear in his eye,
"I don't wuv you any more."
The second one was a real space monster song...
The One-Eyed One-Horned Flying Purple People Eater
Well I saw the thing coming out of the sky
It had one long horn and one big eye
I commenced to shakin' and I said oo-wee
It looks like a purple people eater to me
It was a one-eyed one-horned flying purple people eater
Sure looks good to me
Well, he came down to earth and he lit in a tree
I said mr Purple People Eater don't eat me
I heard him say in a voice so gruff
I wouldn't eat you 'cos you're too tough
It was a one-eyed one-horned flying purple people eater
It sure looks strange to me
I said mr Purple People Eater what's your line
He said eating purple people and it sure is fine
But that's not the reason that I came to land
I wanna get a job in a rock 'n roll band
Well, bless my soul rock 'n roll flying' purple people eater
Pigeon-toed under-growed flyin' purple people eater
one-eyed one-horned it was a people eater
What a sight to see
Well, he swung from the tree and he lit on the ground
he started to rock really rockin' around
It was a crazy ditty with a swinging tune
Wop bop a lula wop bam boom
one-eyes one-horned flying people eater
Ooh, it sure looks strange to me
Well he went on his way and then what do you know
I saw him last night on a TV show
He was a blowin' it out and really knockin' them dead
Playing rock 'n roll music through the horn in his head
Wish this comment would let you hear the music, maybe Grandma can remember - she sings really good - if not, Mom & Dad are really smart and I bet someday they could find the music for you and Kai - Love you guys - Great Auntie Barb
