Let’s get serious for a moment…

If you didn’t already know, mama and daddy are going to make my blog into a book for Kai and me. So we would really like you to add your comments to our posts, so we can have your words in our book, so we can read them when we get to be grown-up.

Mish-mash

Kai is getting fun to play with. It’s like he’s getting to be a little kid. And the best part is that he wants to do whatever I’m doing. But the worst part is that he wants to do whatever I’m doing…

Here we are on a “discovery walk”. My music teacher gave me a magnifying glass and I was keen to go out and discover things. We went on a walk to the park in the woods.

He loves it as much as I do!

There’s a little stream down there that I like to throw rocks into. It was pretty muddy and my shoes were too big, so that’s a recipe for a muddy sock.

We had a short post the other day on Kai’s birthday, but it was way short on pics. We’ll get more up, because there are a lot more to share!

Just me and some kitties and my friends

I love kitties so much. I think they are so cute. I wish we had one but daddy won’t let me. We had a kitty when I was small but it peed everywhere including in my toys so one day mama and daddy said enough and away went the kitty. So here I am, loving kitties and wanting and wishing for one.

When I’m grown up I’m not getting married to a girl, I’m getting married to myself. Then I’m getting a kitty and a skateboard. And I think apartments are pretty neat, maybe I’ll get one of those, too.

I have some best friends at my school, they are twins named Noah and Julia. The three of us do everything together. Their mama and my daddy make sure that we get to have lunch together after school at least once a week. It’s called Lunch Bunch and I like it a lot because it means I get to take my lunch to school and I get to stay there longer.

The three of us play together at school all the time. Our favorite game is when we play an animal family. We play monkey family, or coyote family, or sloth family, things like that. Noah likes to be the dad, so I let him. And Julia likes to be the baby, so I let her. So that makes me the mom. I am almost always the mom in our animal family but that doesn’t bother me. Noah let me be the dad one time.
