Yowza!

Potty learning was slow at first, but by George I think I've got it! Phase 1 at least. The first several days I had accidents - learning to hold the pee was the easy part. Figuring out how to let it go once on the potty took some time. I would hold it so long I would end up bursting - all over my underpants and the floor.

Yesterday morning I didn't have any accidents but we still had to coax the potty out of me. I had to sit there on that cold hard potty chair for so long my bottom turned red. After my nap yesterday I woke up with a dry diaper but didn't make it on the potty at all. I kept tinkling on the floor just minutes after mama had me sitting on the potty chair.

This morning was a completely different story. I got up (with a mostly dry diaper) and mama took me to the potty straight off. I sat down and let 'er rip. Yay! We had a little potty party with singing and dancing and clapping. I was so proud. I had a poopy accident a little later but that doesn't count yet. Then mama and I went to the grocery store and they told me I had to potty first. So I sat down and went potty right away. Did it again after coming back from the store. And then again before nap. Woke up from nap with a dry diaper and went potty on the chair. And a couple more times, once before bath and again after bath. I rule the bathroom, suckas!

Oh I had one little accident this afternoon but I was playing my new Leapfrog computer game and was completely engrossed. I caught it after just a little potty came out. Then I called mama and finished up on the potty. Yay me!
