The new face of electronics

Some of Mama's nerd coworkers made some cardboard oscilloscopes for a marketing promotion. Mama knows I like buttons (and a scope has lots) so she brought one of them home for me for a toy. It's pretty cool, I use it as a stepstool and a seat. I'm also gearing up to be in a few ad campaigns. You know these corporations, always looking for cute young things to model for them. I'm not quite representative of their target market, but I think that I have a pretty wide appeal, don't you think?
Nice big color display!
So easy to use!

And it's very portable...

This was Mama's grandfather's hat. Don't I look cute? I think he'd approve.

Dada's got a brand new toy

Mama must like Dada because she let him get a new toy. It's black and really big and really loud. There's lots of room for me in the back seat and it's so tall that Bailey can't jump high enough to get in the back.

It's mine...right?

I love to get in Mama's car or Dada's truck and steer the wheel and make vroom vroom noises! You can't keep me out of them. Well, you can but I scream. When Mama gets home the first thing I want to do is get in her car and drive! She usually tries to make me kiss her but I can usually get away. I needs my wheels.

Not too picky

Mama had a rough couple of days at work so Dada ordered Chinese tonight.

Holy cow! Mama has a scallop on her fork! I LOVE scallops! Yum.

Got it.

I've changed a lot in the last year. Here are some pictures from my first cereal feeding, about a year ago.

Watch out, I'm the tickle monster!

Yesterday mama didn't have any pants on so I came up behind her and waggled my fingers at the back of her thigh. Just like everyone does to me. At first she didn't know what was going on. Heee heee heee! Then she saw it was me and I got lots of kisses.

Me and my buddy.

Not only do I get to play with Carson at my house every Tuesday, I also get to go over to his house on Wednesdays now. It's lots of fun. We get to go to a playdate where I play with other kids, and we also go to something called a baby boot camp. But no one has told me when I'm supposed to get my crewcut and fatigues.

Carson's mama sent these pictures to mama and dada. She wasn't able to tell them for sure what I was doing while I was sitting on the truck behind the curtain. But I'll tell you. I was thinking. Hard.

My Girl

Today Mama took me over to visit one of her friends and her daughter. I got dragged along because Mama was going to take some pictures of the little girl and Mama said "NO! You can't stay home alone with Bailey." I think she was worried I'd sit and play xbox all afternoon. As if. I found the candy stash yesterday and I had big plans.

Regardless, I went and I was good. The little baby girl liked me a lot. She was trying to climb on me but I didn't like her touching me so I ran away. You're a sweet kid, Emmeline, but I need my space right now.

I got to have a little chocolate cooky but Mama's friend has a funny accent and the way she said "cooky" sounded like "biscuit". Either way, it had chocolate so I was set.

Toward the end of the visit I warmed up a little. Emmeline had some cool toys on her exersaucer.
And now I shall dance for you!

Yes, the way to a girl's heart is to lift up your shirt and show her your belly. I think she liked it. Did you like that, Emmeline?

Yes! But pull your shirt back down now...Daddy doesn't look happy.

So that's the story of how I almost got thrown out of their house.

Happy Labor Day

Hi, guys, it's after my bedtime now so don't tell Mama on me. I'll just make this quick. This last weekend was really fun. Mama took two extra days off, so we had five whole days together! We played a lot and we also saw grandmas and grandpas.

Dada's been working on my playroom. I don't know why he needed to change it. The carpet was nice and soft to fall on. And because it was stained, nobody ever noticed when I puked on it. The new hard floor is nice too, though, I guess. Note my playhouse front and center. Oh yeah. That's the way it should be.

Dada snagged the camera so Mama could take a picture with me.

We went to Grandma and Grandpa R.'s house and I got lots of attention.

Great Grandma and Auntie Barb. Auntie Barb made me some fun new bibs.

Me and my Mama.

In the back yard with Grandpa.

I am pretty big on reading right now. Reading and coloring. Yeah, coloring. I take all of the crayons out of the box and do some scribbling. Nine times out of ten I pull out an orange crayon or a purple crayon. Guess I take after Grandma R... orange because she likes orange, and purple because she's crazy. Then I like to put them all back in the box. I fit them all in neatly and don't lose any. Except that one that went under the couch.

And the one that tasted good.

Wow, can you believe it? I'm officially a driving man. I got my very own tricycle this weekend. Grandma and Grandpa D. brought it over for me on Saturday. It has a bucket on the back and streamers on the handlebars and it is so great I can hardly contain myself.

My legs aren't quite long enough to reach the pedals but who cares. Mama or Dada or Gma or Gpa can push me down the sidewalk and I do my own steering. Watch out, ladies! I'm gonna be cruising the cul-de-sac on my own in no time!
