Tonight after dinner, mama and I made cookies. I did a lot of the work so mama didn't have to. I'm a good baker! Never mind that big mess on the counter. Sure, I'll clean it up, um, tomorrow...
Well, it got me thinking about how I am a bit backed up on Christmas pictures so I'd better get to it!
Ah, yes, here's a good one of Santa/me riding the elderly dog.
And there's always one of the best parts of Christmas, mama's Cookie Baking Day! Every year she bakes billions of cookies with a friend of hers. This year both of the mommies had babies in their tummies but they didn't let that stop them. There were so many cookies that we had to throw some away this month!
One of the kinds of cookies, mint meltaway thingies.
Another thing I did before Christmas was ride on the Christmas Train with mama and Opa. I really liked it a lot. Santa showed up on the train and gave me a candy cane!
I got to go to ZooLights a couple of times, once with my good friend Emmeline. I call Emmeline my sister. I've known her since she was just a baby. She's a wild little thing.
After ZooLights we went to her house for dinner. Which was vegetables and cheese "Raclette" for the grownups and fish sticks for me because I'm kind of picky. We played a lot and Emmeline wore me out but I had a lot of fun.
So I guess that was, like the big highlights of pre-Christmas. I have a lot of Christmas pictures that I'll put up next. During this pre-Christmas time I was very very excited and certain that Santa was going to bring me a new kitchen. Whenever someone knocked on the door I asked if it was Santa (by the way, the UPS guy is a real tease). When I was in bed waiting to go to sleep I would sing "Jingle Bells" to myself. On Christmas Eve, I decided that I would leave some cookies for Santa...and some hot chocolate for Rudolph. At the same time, I upped my order to a new kitchen AND a new TV.
