Color me cute

We painted our house this weekend! Or, I should say, Dad painted our house this weekend.

My job was to go with mama to the paint store and get some more paint. I walked through the automatic door by myself and some grandpa-aged guy started talking to mama about me. She got an icky feeling about him so we scooted away fast.

When we were paying for the paint, I took mama's credit card and tried to swipe it on the card machine but couldn't get it in the slot so I gave it to the cashier. She took it from me and did something with it, then gave it back to me. I took it from her and put it in mama's purse. Just like mama does! Watch out, I'm studying everything you do.

I gave the cashier a pretty smile and flirted a little. She liked me a lot so she gave me a painter's hat. Check it out!

Fourteen months old tomorrow.

Let's see, cool stuff I've done lately...
I ate some kitty treats the other day. They were yummy. That lid was a little hard to get off, but if you just twist it and pull it enough, it comes off and you can get to the soft, chewy treats in the center. Plus you get to gross out the 'rents and you get your sippy cup right away. Mama and Dad are keeping that container up high now so the killjoys are at it again.

I'm learning to do the sign for "eat". Mama hasn't seen it yet. I just do it when Dad's watching.

On Sunday, when Mama was vacuuming, I pulled out my corn popper push toy and helped. My neighbor Andy has a fun toy lawn mower. That would be good for helping with housework. I wouldn't even ask for an allowance.

I can do the moonwalk. Kind of. I'm getting good at walking backwards! Just call me MJ. Or the King of Poop. I mean Pop.

I went to the zoo a few weeks ago for the first time. Dad took me while mama was at work; we went with our friends Carson and his mom. I had lots of fun but unfortunately got a little sunburned.

An addition to my list...

Mom pointed out recently that I inadvertently left "duckies" off my Top Ten list. I think those should rank in the top 5 at least.
